Jindal Stainless is offering steel for BrahMos projects

Jindal Stainless will supply custom steel sheets and plates for BrahMos Aerospace, enhancing India’s defence capabilities with high-quality materials.

Jindal Stainless announces that it will manufacture custom stainless steel and specialise low-alloy steel sheets for BrahMos Aerospace’s defence projects. The company would also provide steel plates from its Hisar factory in Haryana, according to a statement. BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd is recognises by Jindal Stainless as a qualified vendor for the production and supply of steel sheets and plates, the company says.

JSL MD Abhyuday Jindal states, “We envision an India that is completely Atmanirbhar in terms of defence requirements.” In accordance with this vision, we are improving our ability to meet and surpass the high requirements for such vital applications. Contributing to the enhancement of our country’s defensive posture is a source of enthusiasm and pride for us.”

Previously, Jindal Stainless supplied materials for critical DRDO and Isro projects such as India’s lunar mission Chandrayaan, PSLV, GSLV Mk3, nuclear submarine missile system, missile canisters for various missile programmes, and rocket exhaust units. The company recently develops and provides 3 mm special alloy steel sheets for the Supersonic Missile-Assisted Release of Torpedo (SMART) system.
