Solidus Techno Power installs 1MWp solar plant in Chandigarh 

Solidus Techno Power successfully put into service a 1MWp rooftop solar plant, supporting Chandigarh’s sustainability and renewable energy initiatives.

Nestled in the parking lot close to DT Mall, I.T. Park, and only a short walk from The LaLit, Chandigarh, Solidus Techno Power Pvt. Ltd. is proud to announce the successful completion of the 1MWp Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Power Plant facility. The Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST), which was established with the goal of advancing sustainable energy efforts, granted this ambitious undertaking.

Solidus Techno Power was in charge of the design, production, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of the cutting-edge SPV power plant because it was a turnkey project. The project ran smoothly in a curved parking space, which presented special design and engineering obstacles that the company’s knowledgeable team was able to successfully overcome. A thorough 10-year warranty and operation and maintenance services are also included in the installation, guaranteeing the power plant’s long-term dependability and efficiency and enhancing the city’s energy grid’s overall sustainability.

With a 1MWp total capacity, the recently constructed solar power plant is an important step in supplying the city’s expanding energy needs while maintaining environmental sustainability. The plant is anticipated to create roughly 1.3 million kWh of clean energy annually throughout the course of its 25-year operational lifetime, which would result in an estimated 31,207.5 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions being reduced, or 0.95 kg per kWh produced. This will make a big difference in the region’s efforts to fight climate change and lessen its carbon impact.
