WBPDCL plans to construct unit 5 in West Bengal

Power: West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd (WBPDCL) has plan to undertake construction of Unit 5 (1×660 MW) under phase III of Sagardighi Thermal Power Station in Murshidabad. The project is based on super critical technology. PFC has sanctioned a term loan of Rs 2,703.88 crore for the project. The completion is targeted by October, 2020 in West Bengal. West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd has plan to invests around Rs 3862.69 Crores.
