Speaking on the occasion of the certification ceremony, Deepak Garg, CEO, SANY South Asia said, “The most important aspect of this certification programme is that of safety and operations. The crane hiring companies are now competing with their global peers, especially, in the overseas projects. This certification is to highlight the global standards as well as to increase the capabilities of Indian operators.” He adds, “Financing companies and insurance companies too will start asking for these certification programmes in the near future.”

HS Mohan, CEO, IESC, who was also present on the occasion said, “I would like to thank SANY especially Deepak Garg who supported this certification so enthusiastically. I would also like to thank COAOI for the support they have extended. I congratulate the trainees for going through this certification programme and we welcome any suggestions of improvement.”

Naveen Dedhia, Vice President COAOI said, “The operators are true owners of the cranes that they operate. While we buy the machines, it is the operator who has the possession of it 24 X 7. This kind of certification will help the operators understand the cranes better in terms of safety and operations.”
