Bajaj awarded 2011 Cricket World Cup Illumination Task

Bajaj Electricals Limited received the prestigious order for flood lighting of Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai. This was a major achievement for the Engineering & Projects Business Unit (E&P BU) of Bajaj Electricals Ltd (BEL) which handles such turnkey projects.
 
The project was completed in two phases. Under phase 1, 4 nos. highmast was installed. Under phase 2, the flood lights were installed subsequently after the civil structure was completed. Other achievements of Bajaj include the impressive Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium at Hyderabad and Usha Raje cricket stadium at Indore.
