New series of LED lighting for airports

Inspired by the ‘Make in India’ vision and taking into consideration the governments initiative in expansion of the existing Airports to international standards and developments of new airports to meet the fast growth of air traffic, K-Lite Industries has launched a new series of LED lighting to address all special requirements for the Airports. The application includes facade lighting, runway lighting, in-ground luminaire, uplighter, up-down lighting, billboard lighting, vertical light bars, aviation obstruction lights, wall washers, area lighting poles, sleek polar lighting solutions, post top lanterns, Bollards, LED flood lights. Architectural low-level lighting for airport approach roads is another special application luminaire. K-Lite have supplied lighting fixtures to more than 20 airports in India including the Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi, Bangalore Airport, Hyderabad Airport, Cochin Airport, etc., which are exhibited in the photographs.

The solutions offered are backed by extensive understanding of illumination in airports and the expertise gained over a period of three decades. The fixtures are designed to provide value technology, ideally suited to Indian conditions. The LEDs used comply to LM 80 testing requirements and from internationally reputed makes such as CREE / LUMILED. The luminaires are RoHS, LM 79 and CE certification compliant. The luminaire efficacy (lumens/ per watt) is much above 120 for all luminaires. Varied optical options for lighting distribution and correlated colour temperature (CCT) are available to suit specific requirements.
