PFC plans to develop two SPVs in Odisha

Power: Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Bhedabahal Ultra Mega Power Project (UMPP) with 4000 MW capacity is structured to be developed through two SPVs — Odisha Integrated Power Ltd (OIPL) and Odisha Infra Power Ltd, both being subsidiaries of PFC, the nodal agency for implementation of UMPPs in the country. The project needs 3,246 acre land in all that includes 2,733 acres private land, 444 acres government land and the rest 69 acre revenue forest land. The project is in slow lane at Sundergarh in Odisha.
