DescriptionCemseal Cementone FLEXY is a flexible, 100 per cent water based pure acrylic membrane. Applied as a liquid it cures to provide a barrier to carbonation and chloride ion infiltration. This product bridges cracks and minor surface imperfections, protects against driving rain, provides out-standing durability and offers long lasting protection, allowing two-way water vapour diffusion enabling the concrete structure to breathe.
Primary UsesCemseal Cementone FLEXY is designed for coating a wide range of concrete structures subject to cracking. It is ideal for the protection of concrete structures against carbonation and chloride ion ingress. The product is also suitable as an elastomeric waterproof coating for pre-cast and in-situ concrete, asbestos, GRC panels, timber, sprayed PU foam, Galvanised steel I Bituminous aluminium sheetings, and plastic water tanks etc.

Method of ApplicationAll surfaces must be clean and free from dust, loose materials, grease, mildew, other contaminants, etc. Remove any protrusions and make good cracks, blow holes, etc with a Krackfil. Don't apply when substrate temperature is below 10°C or above 40° C, nor on damp and rainy days. For better adhesion of Cemseal Cementone FLEXY to substate a sealer layer is applied by diluting Stabi-sol upto 10 per cent by volume with potable water. Allow sealer layer to dry for 4 to 6 hours before application of Cemseal Cementone FLEXY. Mix Cemseal Cementone FLEXY contents thoroughly for few seconds to obtain uniform consistency before use. Apply two layers evenly by brush, roller or spray gun, allowing 4 to 6 hours curing time before applying the next layer. Apply three layers for sloped and flat roofs to get the recommended 450 microns dry film thickness (OFT) and apply two layers for walls to get recommended 250 to 300 microns dry film thickness (OFT).
