DIPP plans to set up India’s largest exhibition cum convention centre in Delhi

Convention Centre: Department of industrial policy and promotion (DIPP) has plan to finalise a proposal to set up the SPV for building India’s largest exhibition cum convention centre in Delhi. DIPP along with Niti Aayog, the urban development ministry and the departments of economic affairs and expenditure would be the partners in the SPV. The convention centre will have 6,000 seating capacity, 10 exhibition halls, 3,500 hotel rooms and retail space in Delhi.
