Henkel India completes Loctite plant in Kurkumbh

Phase III of Henkel India’s Kurkumbh factory is now complete, boosting regional output of high-performance adhesive solutions to satisfy rising demand.

The Kurkumbh, Maharashtra, manufacturing facility of Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Private Limited (Henkel India) completed Phase III of its construction. The Kurkumbh plant was established in 2020 to meet the increasing needs of Indian businesses in terms of high-performance adhesive, sealant, and surface treatment products. Along with other members of the company’s senior management, Mark Dorn, Executive Vice President of Henkel Adhesive Technologies, officially opened the new Loctite facility, which bears the name of the well-known brand Loctite from Henkel.

Henkel Adhesive Technologies is a major development engine for this sector today, after entering the Indian market in 1996. The location has installed on-site solar panels and signed a green electrical energy Power Purchase Agreement in order to achieve this goal.
