KYB-Conmat unveils new concrete machines

In recent years, KYB-Conmat’s Research & Development wing has been operating in full force. “We are always focused on introducing the right product for the Indian Concrete Industry which has lower operating cost and minimal power/fuel consumption. We keep improvising our products and making our equipment more and more efficient is always one of our top agendas. It also has been a moment of great pride for us to celebrate the rollout of our 1000th Transit Mixer from our Vadodara facility,” explains Sailaj Verma, Vice President, KYB-Conmat.

The company has recently launched the new generation of its rack-and-pinion elevators – RPCE 10, 15, 20 and 20P, which offer about 30 per cent higher speed of operation while being more energy efficient and safer than the previous generation of the elevators. It comes with VFD for smooth start-stop operation, a load limiter to prevent overloading and an optional floor selection system.

KYB-Conmat also launched MR 70 concrete mixer adding to the existing range of MR 60 and MR 80 range of mixers. “Our design ensures a higher agitating performance which is very helpful in cases where the distance between the batching plant and the site is longer,” asserts Verma.

One of its other product launches has been the stationery trailer mounted concrete pump – SCP 45 and SCP 75—with intelligent controls, which are ideal for bridges, dams and high rise building constructions. The pump has proven S-valve technology, and has undergone rigorous testing to ensure that it delivers the best performance and remains as energy efficient as possible. “The pumps come with a specially designed hopper to facilitate free flow of concrete for better suction, and the stabiliser legs are designed to take lateral and horizontal loads while pumping,” Verma informs.

KYB-Conmat also unveiled its 240 cu.m/hr concrete batching plant with a versatile and fully automatic PLC control system with SCADA. “Our concrete batching plants are known to deliver superior performance with minimum energy consumption, and this new capacity plant is only building up on that,” claims Verma. “The plant has already started operation at our customer’s site and we are getting very good feedback, especially on the energy efficiency of the plant.”
