Please brief us on your business activities at construction sector.Pakona Engineers is a leading manufacturer of packaging and material handling machines since 1983. We are manufacturing more than 250 machines a year and exporting to more than 70 countries.
In construction sector, we are manufacturing precast concrete pipes under the technical license of Mario Croci & Figli (Italy), the world-class manufacturer of concrete pipe machines for over 75 years.
Pakona Engineers manufactures fully automatic vertical cast concrete pipe machines in Vadodara, Gujarat.
What are the products and solutions you offer under this segment?As of now, we are offering two machines manufactured in India. As per IS 458, our Mach 1 can manufacture from 300 mm – 1,200 mm RCC pipes for spigot socket, flush joints, and butt joints. Pakona offers fully automatic concrete pipe machine Mach 2P which can manufacture concrete pipes from 100 mm – 300 mm diameter with a production capacity of 400-450 pipes a day. It is a two-station concrete pipe machine which makes smaller pipes efficiently. We also offer imported concrete pipe machines (model GIDIVI) for pipes ranging from 800 mm-2,500 mm/3,500 mm.
Can you brief us on the unique advantages of fully automatic pipe machine Mach1? Mach1 doesn’t need any EOT crane. It also doesn’t require erection or commissioning charges. We provide free training at site for 10 days.
Where do you find the applications of such products?As per IS 458, NP3 and NP4 class concrete pipes are used in underground sewerage works, storm water irrigation, and drains/culverts carrying medium and heavy traffic.
What is the number of units you sale every year? Within a span of 2 years, we have successfully sold seven plants, a unique feat in selling and promoting vertical vibrated casting process for RCC pipe manufacturing in India.
Do you have enough production capacity to cater to the demand of Indian market? Yes. With our technical collaborators Mario Croci & Figli, we have established highly equipped manufacturing facilities for design, machining, fabrication, and assembly. Our capacity is to make 10 machines per year. We offer a complete range of precast concrete pipe machineries.
