Saint-Gobain and Pratham Foundation opens training centre in Latur

Saint-Gobain Gyproc India is happy to announce that it has expanded its relationship with the Pratham Foundation by establishing a third training institute in Latur, Maharashtra.

As an industry partner, Saint-Gobain wants to empower people in Maharashtra’s Southeast region by teaching them industry-relevant skills in plasterboard and false ceiling crafts. The training will be provided free of charge, guaranteeing that people from all socioeconomic backgrounds can improve their abilities and employment opportunities. After finishing the programme, participants will receive placement support.

This is Gyproc’s ninth training centre collaboration and the third with Pratham Foundations, aimed at meeting the construction industry’s skilled personnel demands. The programme provides specialised training for aspiring Drywall and False Ceiling Installers. This alliance, which leverages Saint-Gobain Gyproc’s experience and Pratham’s resources, intends to set a new standard for talent development in the Indian interior fit-out market.
