Span Floors, a leading brand of wooden flooring in India, has launched a new range of Oak and Walnut Engineered Chevron wooden flooring collection. The latest Chevron collection by Span Floors is eco-friendly, sustainable and conforms to the E1 emission standard for harmful formaldehyde, solvents and VOCs. The collection is available in multiple construction which makes the flooring plank very stable and suitable for Indian climatic conditions; and the color varies from lighter pale contemporary tones to dark chocolate browns with a slightly open grain finish. Span Engineered flooring is a solution to the challenges of solid wood flooring namely wood warping and deformation due to humidity changes. It is made from a combination of hardwood and plywood. A 3 mm veneer of natural hardwood is glued on to a multi layered high quality birch plywood glued together with formaldehyde free adhesives. The finishing is done either with UV Hardwax Oil or UV Lacquer providing protection from day to day abrasion and a beautiful, natural wood feel.

The Oak and Walnut Chevron collection by Span Floors is available in Natural grading. By grading is meant the quality of wood assortment – the size and quantity of wood knots, the color variation etc. The Natural grading comes with more lively and woody structure with more knots and greater color variation.
