Training Program on Road Buildings

CII Uttar Pradesh State Council organized a two day training program on “Emerging Trends in Construction & Design of Concrete Roads in Uttar Pradesh” at Gorakhpur with the objective of capacity building of professionals from State Government Officials and Road Contractors on the best practices of road construction involved in construction of concrete roads. The program was conducted by the eminent faculty from Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) and Conmat Systems. Apart from presentations and discussion on concrete road designs, special concentration was given on Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP), the pavement technique mostly used in India and ‘Role of equipment in the building and beautification of Roads’.
