Waterproofing System Under Tiles (WSUT)

Dampness increases due to the water seepage through the tile joints, pipe connections and drainage. It is always observed that the waterproofing at Sunken slab and above the sunken portion to the brick wall get damage during the installation of sanitary system and fill the sunken portion by brickbed coba. And if the tile joints are not filled properly, the water gets seepage towards the brick wall through these joints. As the brick wall absorb the water and start raising due to the inner wall of the bathrooms are fully tiled. Later the saturated brick wall starts showing the dampness on the other side of the wall, which is generally either a bedroom or a living room.
 
To prevent the raising dampness on the other side of the bathroom walls Colossus have introduce Waterproofing System Under Tiles.
 
Sealing Tape, Sealing Compound, Inside Corner, Outside Corner, Wall Packing and Floor Packing are the major component of this system. As shown in the below mention illustration, the application is very simple and easy to do-it-yourself.
 
The Sealing Tapes are NBR rubber elastic based with low textile content and textile edging. The tape exhibits excellent recovery characteristics and is fully silicone-compatible.
 
This system can be use at bathroom, wet room, swimming pool, construction joints between concrete to concrete, concrete to brick masonry, concrete to metal and wood, joint for metal roofing, and joints between two pre-cast concrete panels etc.
 
Some of the grade of Sealing Tape can be used to seal the expansion joints up to 200mm.
