What led to the inception of Lingel?
Karl Lingel Fensterbau GmbH & Co.KG was established in 1959 in Ellwangen, a small town in Germany and since then Lingel is one of the leading manufacturers of high quality doors and windows in Europe.

We came to India in 2006 and in ten years time period we are proud to be recognized as one of the pioneers, trendsetters and leading fabricator in India. The range of solutions we offer helps us to stand out in a crowded marketplace. Not to mention the world class quality of products we offer. From uPVC doors and windows to aluminum doors and windows our customers are spoilt for choices.

In your words what is the USP of the company?
I think the fact that we offer all the products under the same roof works as an advantage. Furthermore we also offer customized versions. Irrespective of whichever state we are doing business in; we listen to our customer’s needs and give them appropriate consultation in terms of the right product. We are the specialist in our line of business and know what works well under different conditions. We know what each individual seeks also because we have encountered similar situations in Germany.

Tell us about the kind of service you offer to your customers
From Bangalore to Pune, from Delhi to Chandigarh and Chennai we have an expert team of professionals who have been associated with us for a long time. Their expertise allows us to shun the trial and error approach and give our customers the precise solution. We are here to do business but more importantly we are also here to build relationships.

You will be surprised to know that of the 1800 customers we are tending to annually, at least one third of them are repeated customers and rest are recommendations. These recommendations are from our satisfied list of clientele who help us to grow even more. We work with a number of architects who work on a wide range of projects.

In the prevailing market there is tough competition, so when a customer buys our products there is definitely a cost attached to it but the service we provide makes it worth the time, money and effort.

What kind of projects are you handling?
Currently we are more focused on individual projects; we work with an increasing number of architects and interior designers. We only deal with people who are buying the products for themselves or their clients. We have not yet entered into any sort of agreement with any developers as yet. We like to cater to a customized market than a mass consumption market where run of the mill products are up for sale. Having said that I am pretty sure that many developers use our products in their own residences and offices.
