Havells launches Decorative CFLs [Mar 2012]

Havells India, one of the leading players in the lighting & fixtures segment, electrical and power equipment sector in India, has introduced decorative range of CFL Lamps which are designed to meet modern lifestyle.
Havells decorative CFL range offers an excellent value proposition that will bring a complete change in the ambience of homes and offices. These decorative lamps are retrofit hence ideal for chandeliers and can replace GLS lamps without changing the existing fixtures. With increased demand of consumers in interior decoration and energy efficient lighting, these unique products are the best bet. Havells has the wide range of energy saving lamps ranging from 5W to 100 W. It uses PDT (Pill Dosing Technology) for its CFLs, in which amalgamated mercury pills are used, as per international standards. “With its special features, Havells’ CFL is set to transform the lighting industry with its unique feature of preventing global warming”, a company statement said.
The decorative CFL lamps are available in four ranges – Globe CFL, Ball CFL, Reflector CFL, and Candle CFL. These lamps come in two colours – warm white & cool day light and suitable for the applications like, shop lightings, hotels, houses and general lighting. The price range starts from Rs.180/- onwards.
