Chief Minister of Maharashtra Inaugurates India’s Biggest Property Exhibition

Properties worth Rs. 50,000 cr on display at Credai-MCHI’s grand expo with over 100 developers to present 50 plus projects spread across the length and breadth of MMR.

Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde, inaugurated the most extensive property exhibition of India post covid organized by the nodal agency of MMR – CREDAI-MCHI. MMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner SVR Srinivas and Bhushan Gagrani, Additional Chief Secretary CMO, also blessed the occasion at the 30th edition of the Grand Property Expo in Mumbai, which will hos 1 lakh homebuyers from today till October 16 at the MMRDA Ground at Bandra Kurla Complex.

While speaking at the event, CHIEF MINISTER OF MAHARASHTRA, SHRI EKNATH SHINDE, said, “The state government would consider the proposal of CREDAI_MCHI to reduce stamp duty and rationalize premiums paid by developers for higher floor space of Index (FSI). He also stressed that his government is keen to rejuvenate the stuck redevelopment projects. Several industries and sectors are directly or indirectly related to real estate, and we’ve been working to help the real estate sector in order to benefit homebuyers.

BOMAN IRANI, President of CREDAI-MCHI, states, “As an IT corridor, Mumbai-Thane is the ideal place for some businesses to set up shop. We’re not asking for anything from the government. To attract new businesses to Mumbai, which are currently going to Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Gift City, he requested the Maharashtra government to reduce stamp duty by 3% from the current 6%, he adds.

In the meantime, CREDAI-MCHI is bringing MMR real estate to the global stage with a massive gathering of international investors, HNWIs, and NRIs. Apart from free opulent interiors, many participating developers also offer attractive payment plans to ease property buyer’s financial burdens.
