Railways: Indian Railways has plan to build Chardham pilgrimage linking project. Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) is assigned the task of undertaking the final survey for rail connectivity to Chardham-Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath through Dehradun and Karanprayag.
