Karnataka Department of Tourism plans to develop ropeway in Karnataka

Tourism: Karnataka Department of Tourism has plan to develop a ropeway at Nandi Hills. The project comprises setting up two parallel ropeways carrying multiple cable cars. Each of these cars will have a capacity to carry 20 people. Bids were recently floated in this regard. The work is likely to start in couple of months at Chikkaballapur district in Karnataka.
