We also have on display our 4 Axis CNC copy router which is meant for fabricating doors & windows. Apart from these high productive machinery we also have a CNC double head cutting saw, notching saw and a full line of uPVC fabrication machinery on display.
How was 2018 for your business?
The year 2018 was challenging yet enduring. Lots of new developments have happened at our front. Manufacturing of architectural hardware for doors and windows at our factory in Haryana has gone to the next level. We’ve now been able to make inroads into exports as well and we are continuously working towards upgrading the industry with new and quality products. It has been very motivating for us looking at the response of the market for our in-house manufactured products and the overall experience of our delivery and services in India. Overall, the year has been very good and looking forward for greater years in the future.
Discuss your plan for 2019.
In 2019, we’ll see a series of new developments coming up in hardware. In January, we are likely to launch our new facility for testing of hardware for doors and windows. This will be the first ever testing equipment to be conceptualized, designed and manufactured in India. The testing facility will be installed and commissioned in our factory located in Haryana. The biggest challenge for the hardware industry right now, specifically for aluminium and uPVC industry is lack of standardisation in terms of norms as per Indian conditions. Hence, the idea is to have all products tested as per existing International standards before they hit the market to avoid any inconvenience to our esteemed customers and eventual end-users using the hardware.
We are also setting up strict quality standards for ourselves in comparison to what you see in Europe. We’re scaling up our distribution system. We already have a PAN India network of sales and distribution in place. However we plan to have more channel partners on board ensuring the products are readily available at the doorstep of every customer fabricating doors, windows and facades
We are also inducting fresh personnel on board who will be ensuring that our products become a household name for developers, architects, consultants and fabricators in India and around the world. Our focus shall remain is to create more awareness and education to the stakeholders who are building the project.
Could you discuss your strategies for energy-efficient doors and window?
Energy-efficient doors and windows are becoming popular in India nowadays, although the percentage of the same is quite less, because thermal break windows is a very niche market right now and there is not much of awareness about it. We understand that we continuously have to upgrade the market with new technologies hence our collaboration with Muller, Switzerland who manufacture thermal break machinery. We already have a few plants installed in India. As the demand picks up, thermal break and energy efficient windows will grow in due course of time.
One of the most important things that we will probably launch in January 2019 will be our new facility, for testing of hardware for doors and windows.
