Ambuja Cements and ACC commits to environmental sustainability

The cement and building material businesses of the diversified Adani Portfolio, Ambuja Cements Limited and ACC Limited, are pleased to have received recognition for their efforts to mitigate climate change, including a “A-” Leadership Score in the Climate Change category of the CDP Climate Assessment 2023

At a recent joint ceremony hosted by CDP and FICCI in New Delhi, Ambuja Cements and ACC were presented with the accolades. Both Companies must strictly conform to CDP’s global requirements for corporate disclosure on environmental performance in order to receive a “Leadership Score.” Ambuja and ACC are among the select few businesses out of 23,000 global participants who have reached the “Leadership Score” band, demonstrating the effectiveness of both their climate action programes and transparent disclosure standards.
