Cricket & Corporate Relationship- Talk Show with Jonty Rhodeswas organised by Rotary Club of Pune Sinhagad Road in association with Indian Cricket Academy Pvt. Ltd.During the event, certain corporate personalities were appreciated by the hands of Jonty Rhodes for their extraordinary contribution in their field.Rahul Jadhav, Director of Aarush Fire Systems Pvt. Ltd. received a Bat with autograph as a token of appreciation from the great cricketer.
The appreciation was for Aarush fire systems Pvt. Ltd. The company has taken various initiatives in safety like organising safety excellence awards for safety officers and EHS professionals from different industries, safety summits, tree plantation drives and free training programs on fire and safety in various industries.
Rotary Club of Pune Sinhgad Road organised this event for social cause, to develop schools at rural locations.
During the talk show, Rhodes focused on various issues related to cricket, health, mental stress and linked these issues to corporate world. He said that practice makes man perfect, but that practice should be perfect practice, whether it is related to cricket, games, health or business. Without perfect practices, you cannot succeed in any field in this competitive environment. He shared his own experiences as an example to succeed in life –As a child, he suffered from major health issue. However, his parents motivated him for games and with his will power, he overcame the same becoming world’s topmost fielder. While he was not a perfect batsman, he never bothered about it and continued focusing on fielding becoming the role model for many cricketers. Hence, you may not be perfect in all areas, but with focused practice, you could become a master in one specific area.
