CASE India launches the 20,000th vibratory compactor

At its cutting-edge plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, CASE Construction Equipment, a trademark of CNH, has produced its 20,000th vibratory compactor, marking a significant milestone.

The plant serves as the only hub for CASE’s compactor manufacturing worldwide in CNH. By the following year, the business hopes to increase output to 10,000 units annually for all products, making it the largest export centre for CASE and the second-largest manufacturing site for CNH worldwide.

CASE’s Pithampur facility, located close to Indore, was established in 1989 and has since produced a wide range of state-of-the-art construction equipment, such as crawler excavators, loader backhoes, and compactors. Currently, the factory serves the construction equipment needs of over 105 nations in Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and India. It also sells a variety of compactors in 44 countries.

On the milestone, Shalabh Chaturvedi, Managing Director, CASE Construction Equipment, India & SAARC region, says, “As a world leader in the vibratory compactor segment, it is a moment of pride for us to roll out the 20,000th made-in-Bharat compactor. This milestone is a testament to customer’s trust in CASE products in India as well as in overseas markets. Our India facility has been essential to our global operations, demonstrating the industrial capabilities of the country. We believe this accomplishment will not only add value to our India operations but is also a step towards Viksit Bharat. We thank our esteemed customers, dealers, and vendor partners for their support and look forward to achieving many such milestones in the future.”

The manufacturing plant offers a wide range of options, including soil and asphalt compactors in addition to vibratory compactors, and serves both local and international markets with its portfolio of eight distinct models of compactors. The 1104 was the first model produced on the vibratory compactor assembly line at the Pithampur factory when it started operating in 1996.

Taking pride, Satendra Tiwari, the Operations Director at CNH, says, “We are among the few companies in India to achieve this remarkable feat. It is evidence of our team’s hard work and dedication. We have been meticulously creating our multimodel assembly process on a single line, with a focus on material flow, timely delivery, and quality. Our unique and efficient approach has been instrumental in driving this success. Additionally, the company’s commitment to consistently invest in technological advancements and process upgrades has allowed us to enjoy a leadership position in the segment.”

The global construction sector is served by CASE compactors, which are well regarded for their pleasant operation, effortless maintenance, sophisticated safety measures, and remarkable compaction parameters. Future-proofing and upgrading machinery is a priority for CASE engineers, who are dedicated to continuous progress. With regards to technology, CASE provides outstanding, class-leading BS-IV-compliant compactors. Though it will be on the market starting in 2025, it recently displayed a variety of machines updated to the most recent BS-V emission standard at EXCON 2023.

Backhoe loaders, excavators, and compactors are just a few of the construction equipment that CASE India, a Pithampur-based company, supplies. Skid steer loaders, which are produced on a production line exclusively composed of women, were also just released by CASE.
