Comansa JIE, the tower crane manufacturer based in Hangzhou, China, has changed its name from March and will be called as Comansa CM. The reason for the rebranding comes after the amicable exit of its main stockholder, which leaves the Linden Comansa group as the sole owner of Comansa CM.
The change of name will have little effect on the trajectory of the company, whose name is “Comansa Construction Machinery (Hangzhou) Co. Ltd.” Despite the change in name the sales, product strategy and management team will remain exactly the same as before. A clear example of this continuity is the Comansa CM logo itself, which has undergone minimal changes in comparison with the previous.
The change in name was marked by a symbolic opening ceremony of Comansa CM took place at the Hangzhou factory on 24th March. The event was chaired by part of the management team from the Linden Comansa Group in presence of most of the Comansa CM staff. The ceremony included the unveiling of the new logo and company name at the gates of the factory.
Created in 2006 as a Joint Venture, Comansa CM currently offers a range of 11 tower cranes with flattop design and maximum load capacities from 6 to 24 tonnes.
