DIAL allowed extension for tariff at IGIA by AERA

The determination for Delhi International Airport Private Limited (DIAL) for the second 5 year control period effective from April 1, 2014 is currently pending before AERA. Given the ongoing process of tariff determination, AERA had earlier permitted extension of charging of tariffs fixed for DIAL vide its order dated April 20, 2012 till October 31, 2014.
Subsequently vide its order dated October 14, 2014, AERA has further extended charging of tariffs fixed for DIAL vide its order dated April 20, 2012 till January 31, 2015 or until final determination of tariffs for second control period, whichever is earlier.
The revenue so collected by the operator (DIAL) during such period shall be adjusted from the aggregate revenue requirement for the second control period w.e.f. April 1, 2014.
