Indian Ceramics Asia 2024

In its 2024 edition, Indian Ceramics Asia introduces new focused activities for an improved business experience.

The Indian ceramics sector is predicted to develop by roughly 9 percent in the next few years due to factors like growing urbanisation, rising disposable incomes, and growing demand for sanitary ware, tiles, and other ceramic items. Known as India’s ceramics capital, Morbi in Gujarat is the hub of business-to-business demand for equipment, raw materials, and technology related to the production and processing of ceramics for both local and export markets.

As a result, Indian Ceramics Asia in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, has become one of the leading trade shows for this sector, drawing a sizable number of businesses from the supplier and buyer sides, such as global machinery manufacturers and suppliers of premium raw materials, among many others.

Leading companies including Colorobbia Chemicals, Esmalglass-Itaca, Floorex Tiles, Hindalco Industries, HLT Industry, Hope Ceramics Machinery, Imerys Ceramics India, JLD Minerals, Keda Industrial Group, Lamberti India, Modena Technology India, Neptune Industries Limited, Prism Johnson Limited, Sacmi Engineering India, System Ceramics India Pvt Ltd, Vidres, and many more will be present at the upcoming Indian Ceramics Asia. These companies will be showcasing a wide range of machines for manufacturing ceramics and bricks, as well as superior raw materials, analytical and laboratory equipment, technical ceramics, storage, and material handling equipment. The Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics (ACIMAC) will bring some of the top Italian brands to the expo in terms of foreign involvement. Also, IEC Inter Expo Consult GmbH is in charge of organising the German Pavilion.

In the interest of the ceramic and brick industries, India Ceramics Asia 2024 will persist in its strategic alliances. The All India Brick & Tiles Manufacturers Federation (AIBTMF), Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), ACIMAC, IEC Inter Expo Consult GmbH Indian Ceramics Society, Bangladesh Ceramic Wares Manufacturers Association (BCWMA), Morbi Ceramics Association, and the Indian Council of Ceramic Tiles and Sanitary Ware (ICCTAS) all strongly support it. The event is ideally situated in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, to draw suppliers from India’s ceramic metropolis, Morbi.

In response to the needs and aspirations of the brick and ceramics industry, the 2019 edition of this trade fair will feature numerous new experiences, including the demo zone, start-up pavilion, and Italian and German pavilions. The extremely well-liked current areas like the Buyer-Seller Lounge, Innovation Exchange Forum, and Ceramics Job Fair are supplemented by these new endeavours.

Regarding the importance of Indian Ceramics Asia 2024, Bhupinder Singh, CEO, of Messe Muenchen India, says, “Today, India is among the world’s top five ceramics manufacturers and exporters, with strong potential in manufacturing technical and engineering ceramics for advanced applications in electronics, automotive, medical prosthetics, and even space research. However, the industry continues to face strong headwinds in terms of fuel and raw material costs, skill development, access to technology and automation, etc. Over the years, Indian Ceramics Asia has worked closely with the industry to provide knowledge and skill development support, exposure to best manufacturing practices and technologies, and many other initiatives. In the upcoming edition, we are excited to launch value-added initiatives such as the International Pavilions, Demo Zone, and Startup Pavilion, in addition to the conferences, ceramics job fair, buyer-seller meetings, and much more. We look forward to enabling more meaningful handshakes; unlocking business opportunities at this edition and beyond.”

Ken Wong, General Manager, of Unifair Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., says, “The strong demand for bricks and ceramics in India is an encouraging sign for the global ecosystem, and this is reflected in the sizable international participation at Indian Ceramics Asia. In the upcoming edition, we are looking forward to building on our good working relationships with the Indian industry, especially the thriving bricks and ceramics community of Gujarat. Backed by Ceramics CHINA, this edition will continue to be a platform for powerful ideas and networking opportunities for local and international visitors to directly engage with manufacturers and suppliers to witness the latest technologies, machinery, and advanced raw materials on offer.”

The Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, will host the 18th edition of Indian Ceramics Asia from March 6–8, 2024.
