Jindal Aluminium achieves highest production of 2023-24

Jindal Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium extrusion company, has set a new production record of 1,15,920 MT of aluminium extruded goods in fiscal years 2023–24.

The company’s production increased by 10 percent compared to FY 2022–23, maintaining its position as India’s leading manufacturer of aluminium-extruded products and its commitment to fulfilling expanding market demand. With over five decades of experience in making complicated aluminium profiles, the company is well-known for its quality products and prompt deliveries.

Jindal Aluminium maintains three cutting-edge manufacturing units in Bengaluru and Dabaspet, Karnataka, as well as a newly acquired manufacturing unit in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. These facilities, which are outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and staffed by a highly qualified crew, have a total manufacturing capacity of 2.35 L tonnes per year, which includes 160,000 aluminium extruded and 75,000 aluminium flat-rolled products. In addition to the manufacturing equipment, the company features in-house eco-friendly surface treatment facilities such as powder coating and anodising.

Speaking on occasion, Pragun Jindal Khaitan, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Jindal Aluminium Limited, says, “We feel humbled to contribute once again to the nation’s requirement with the highest production of aluminium extruded products. Our commitment to delivering top-quality products, backed by best-in-class technology and stringent quality standards, remains uncompromised. As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in pursuing innovation and value creation.”

The company has had a considerable impact on India’s downstream aluminium industry, and it is the only aluminium extrusion manufacturer in India to have aerospace (AS9100D) certification. It uses 100 percent renewable energy at two of its manufacturing facilities in Karnataka, demonstrating its dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility. According to the most recent IMARC study, the aluminium extrusion market in India is expected to reach 1,288,202.3 metric tonnes by 2028, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.49 percent between 2023 and 2028. This growing trend reinforces Jindal Aluminium’s strategic position and indicates a bright future for the aluminium extrusion sector, with several potential stakeholders throughout the value chain.
