Kyndryl opens new office space in Bengaluru

The brand-new, cutting-edge building will enhance employee and customer experiences, support Kyndryl’s international distribution operations, and encourage hybrid working.

The largest IT infrastructure services provider in the world, Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), announces the opening of a 250,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art office building in Bengaluru’s Embassy Manyata Business Park. The building will house the company’s Network Operations Centre (NOC), Kyndryl Vital Studio, Security Operations Centre (SOC), and Customer Experience Centre (CEC), all of which are located globally. The office, which can hold up to 3,000 workers, is outfitted with the newest technology, allowing Kyndryls to work together across teams and provide clients with a seamless, immersive experience.

Three experience zones, including demo areas, boardrooms, and formal and casual spaces for brainstorming, are available at the Kyndryl Customer Experience Centre. Customers can see interactive demos on cloud, AI, IoT, and cybersecurity solutions; troubleshoot issues with Kyndryl specialists; and create customised solutions that will propel business growth as they think about their own IT and business difficulties.

“Helping our customers become more adaptive, resilient, and future-ready is our top priority. The new office will provide our customers with an integrated view of our tech skills and capabilities. It will also offer our employees an environment that encourages collaboration and drives personal productivity and learning, allowing us to deliver expertise and speed at scale using AI-powered automation,” says James Rutledge, Global Head of Delivery, Kyndryl.

The largest Kyndryl Vital Studio in the business will also be located in the office. Every area of this special room inspires and strengthens human interactions, to foster innovation in customer solutions. Working with Kyndryl specialists, alliance partners, and customers to co-create the digital future of business in India is made possible by Kyndryl Vital Studio. Kyndryl Vital solves the most challenging business problems by combining people, cutting-edge technologies, and existing capabilities through co-creation approaches.

“India is benefiting from a confluence of tech capability and skills, demographic dividends, and market opportunity. While we invest in delivering for our customers in India, driving global innovation and value is the underlying theme of our strategy to engage and leverage India for Kyndryl worldwide,” says Lingraju Sawkar, President of Kyndryl India.

The new workplace is built with diversity, sustainability, and worker well-being in mind. The design incorporates flexible workspaces, inclusive elements, and ergonomic furniture to accommodate a range of work styles and preferences. The health and well-being of employees can be enhanced with the addition of natural elements, exercise centres, and areas designated for rest and mindfulness practices. Workers can take advantage of a digitally equipped, hybrid workspace that includes multipurpose event rooms that can host both in-person and virtual events, flexible and technologically integrated meeting spaces, and dedicated collaboration zones.

Accessible restrooms, wheelchair accessibility, movable workstations, tactile signage, and braille labelling for blind or visually impaired individuals are all features of inclusive office design. Adequate amenities and a safe, inclusive atmosphere for all employees are ensured by the presence of gender-neutral restrooms alongside traditional ones and parental support facilities for nursing mothers.

The new workstation’s energy-efficient fixtures, natural lighting, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems have all been included in the design process to optimise energy efficiency. To further optimise energy usage, consider implementing smart technologies, such as motion sensors, and utilising environmentally friendly materials that comply with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design requirements. To reduce landfill waste, a thorough waste management system has been put in place. Effective ventilation, air filtration, and indoor plants also guarantee healthy indoor air quality.
