Magicrete opens AAC blocks manufacturing plant in Haryana

Magicrete opens AAC blocks manufacturing plant in HaryanaMagicrete Building Solutions, among India’s leading manufacturers of AAC (Aerated Autoclaved Concrete) blocks, announced the inauguration of their third manufacturing plant in India. The facility will manufacture AAC blocks and panels. These AAC panels are quickly being adopted as superior substitutes to bricks in the real estate and construction industry.
Developed at an investment of Rs. 50 crore, the new facility in Haryana has a total manufacturing capacity of 4 lakh cubic meters of AAC blocks and panels. Along with their plant in Surat, which has a manufacturing capacity of 4 lakh cubic meters, Magicrete total manufacturing capabilities have increased to 8 lakh cubic meters. With both plant’s being operational, Magicrete aims to be the largest Indian player in AAC Blocks/Panels space by 2015
AAC blocks are a superior substitute to the traditionally used brick and are available at almost the same price. According to the company, it’s AAC blocks weigh almost 70 per cent less than clay bricks, they significantly reduce the deadweight of the structure which can result in huge costs savings attributed to reduction of steel and cement use. They are 9 times the size of a regular brick leading to fewer joints & hence stronger structure. The AAC blocks are inorganic &are pest resistant, fire resistant, provide for thermal insulation, have tremendous sound absorption, and are earthquake resistance. AAC blocks also assist in up to 2 per cent increase in floor space area.
