Rashi Morbia is a lady whose passion for all things décor and events has driven her to develop a unique idea in Mumbai’s tumultuous hospitality market. She is the founder of The Nook, a posh event studio in Mumbai, and has created a sophisticated rooftop area to hold a variety of celebrations.

Rashi, a fashion marketing student at Berkeley College in New York City, has nearly a decade of experience as a fashion stylist in the Bollywood sector. But what stayed with her during all of the B-Town glam events was the need for a dedicated event venue that embodies refinement, oozes style, and elevates festivities. That sparked the concept of The Nook, a place where people may make personal memories.

When one walks inside this area, Rashi’s fascination with interiors is immediately apparent. Floor-to-ceiling windows for natural warmth, comfortable couches, tall indoor plants, and ceramic-designed tiles in gentle beige and brown tones all contribute to the ideal aesthetics for an audience that searches Pinterest for decorating ideas.

Realising the potential of the booming hotel industry, Rashi resolved to innovate with her offering and provide only the finest. For The Nook, she has assembled an impressive team of partners to handle catering and decorations for all types of events. From formal corporate parties to hosting anniversaries or wedding functions, she provides a complete venue solution. Her goal is to provide outstanding service to her clients and make their special days memorable.

This is not Rashi’s first foray into entrepreneurship; she began with the children’s salon “Dolled & Dapper” in Bandra, which quickly gained popularity. From fashion styling to cosmetics to the event industry, Rashi has continuously stepped outside of her comfort zone and done so with confidence. She enjoys conceptualising and proposing innovative things, and the exhilaration of creating something new fuels her.

When she isn’t smothering her son and three dogs with love and kisses, she enjoys travelling, sourcing new outfits, binge-watching shows, and dancing.
