Gyproc Sound Bloc

Gyproc Sound Bloc is a break through gypsum plasterboard consisting of high density aerated gypsum core bonded to paper liners. This board has proven to improve sound insulation by 50 per cent (+3 dB) as compared to plain gypsum plasterboards. This implies that Gyproc Sound Bloc can reduce the transmission of sound between walls by half and provide a much more noise free environment for the inhabitants. The Gyproc Sound Bloc boards also maintain the other physical performance factors of mechanical strength, fire resistance and being light in weight.
