Green initiatives by Tridhaatu Realty

Tridhaatu Realty is delighted to announce that their project, Tridhaatu Morya in Chembur, is constructed with a strong emphasis to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.

This effort demonstrates Tridhaatu Realty’s commitment to developing environmentally friendly living environments that contribute on a healthier planet.

“We are excited to present Tridhaatu Morya as a benchmark for sustainable living in Mumbai,” says Govind Krishnan Muthukumar, Co-founder & Director, of Tridhaatu Realty. “Our commitment to minimising environmental impact and maximising energy efficiency reflects our dedication to the well-being of our residents and the planet. On this World Environment Day, we reaffirm our pledge to continue innovating and integrating green practices into all our future projects,” he added.

Tridhaatu Morya uses advanced HVAC technologies to considerably minimise energy consumption. The use of smart technologies, such as programmable thermostats, ensures optimal energy use, providing occupants with both comfort and efficiency. The project prominently features renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, which contribute to a more sustainable energy balance and reduce dependency on nonrenewable energy. This commitment to renewable energy not only reduces Tridhaatu Morya’s carbon footprint, but also encourages its residents to live a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Tridhaatu Morya recognises the need of water conservation and has installed water-saving fixtures such as low-flow toilets, faucets, and showerheads. Furthermore, the use of rainwater harvesting systems and greywater recycling reduces water consumption, making it a model for sustainable water management. The project emphasises the use of environmentally friendly building materials with minimal embodied energy, such as recycled, salvaged, or sustainably sourced wood, bamboo, and cork. Tridhaatu Morya encourages the circular economy by reducing building waste through efficient recycling and material reuse, as well as preparing for future renovations or demolitions.

Tridhaatu Realty has carefully chosen areas with low environmental effects, maintaining natural habitats and increasing biodiversity by landscaping with native species that require less water and maintenance. This method not only preserves resources, but it also benefits local ecosystems and biodiversity.

Tridhaatu Morya prioritises indoor air quality, implementing measures such as utilising low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints and finishes, installing adequate ventilation systems, and ensuring building envelopes are properly sealed. These techniques improve tenant health and comfort, making Tridhaatu Morya an attractive place to live. Tridhaatu Realty aims to raise the bar in the real estate business by emphasising innovative design and environmental responsibility.

Tridhaatu Realty installed an Organic Waste Converter (OWC) to greatly lessen the pressure on the government’s waste removal system, resulting in less space required in dumping yards. The OWC output can be used as manure in landscaping. Furthermore, they have installed a full-capacity, odourless sewage treatment plant in Tridhaatu Morya, ensuring that no sewage enters the BMC sewer system. The cleaned water is reused for flushing and gardening, significantly reducing water consumption and encouraging conservation.

With these measures, Tridhaatu Realty continues to set new standards for environmentally friendly practices in the real estate business.
