Jindal Aluminium expands extrusion production capacity by 40 percent

The business declared the successful start of production in January 2022 and completed the acquisition of the assets of Indo Alusys Industries Limited Bhiwadi for INR 100 crore.

It has been two years since Jindal Aluminium Limited, India’s biggest manufacturer of extruded aluminium products, started operating at Bhiwadi. With an additional expenditure of almost INR 300 crores, Jindal Aluminium has renovated the 1,02,000-square-metre campus into a cutting-edge manufacturing facility for the past two years. It ensures accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of its operations by using state-of-the-art production procedures.

The company’s overall extrusion capacity has increased to 1,50,000 TPA, a 40 percent increase, thanks to this worthwhile acquisition. The company started producing 500 metric tonnes of engineered aluminium per month at the recently acquired factory. With remarkable perseverance, the unit is presently producing 2500 metric tonnes of engineered aluminium per month at Bhiwadi. The addition of a new foundry, extrusion presses, heat treatment, and surface treatment facilities, such as anodising and powder coating, has greatly improved the plant’s operations. To better serve its clients, staff, and the community at large, it has made numerous more infrastructural enhancements.
