Solid Waste Management: Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) plans to set up integrated solid waste management facility at Village Umbarde in Thane District, Maharashtra. The investment is up to Rs 12.50 crore. The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) had granted its authorisation for the use of another dumping ground facility at Umbarde.
