Roads/ Highways/ Bridges: Kerala Public Works Department has started re-construction work of the Ponnara Perunelli bridge connecting the Kovalam-Kazhakuttam NH Bypass and the Beemappally-Valiyathura road at Kovalam in Kerala. The completion is targeted in 18 months with an investment of Rs. 14 crores.
