MPWD plans to improve Cross drainage culvert in Meghalaya

Drainage: Meghalaya Public Works Department (MPWD) plans to undertake upgradation of cross drainage culvert from NP2 HP Culvert to NP4 HP Culvert at different location from Km 180th – 191st on Dawki-Amlarem – Jowai road section on NH-40E Meghalaya. A cross drainage work is a structure carrying the discharge from a natural stream across a canal intercepting the stream. Canal comes across obstructions like rivers, natural drains and other canals.
