North Eastern Railway plans to construct new line in West Bengal

Railways: North Eastern Railway has plan to construct new line between Mau station of North Eastern Railway and Tarighat station of East Central Railway. The project was approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs in June, 2016. This line would provide alternative route between New Delhi and Howrah at Howrah in West Bengal.
