PPGCL plans to commission the second unit of 660 MW coal in Uttar Pradesh

Power: Prayagraj Power Generation Company Ltd (PPGCL) has commissioned the second unit of 660 MW coal based supercritical thermal power plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant is located in Bara tehsil in Allahabad district. The third unit is in advanced stages of completion. BHEL’s scope in the project consisted of design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of the Boiler and Turbine-Generator (BTG) package.
