Liquid, a unique collaboration between Tom Dixon and VitrA, took two awards at the world-renowned International Forum (iF) Design Awards 2022. It took a gold award, one of only 73 awarded, beating 11 thousand entries from 57 countries.

London Design Medal winner Tom Dixon’s collaboration with VitrA, the Liquid Collection, received its first award earlier this year from Wallpaper*, the world’s number one global design, art and contemporary lifestyle magazine. Liquid’s bathroom products won one of only 73 golds, beating 11 thousand entries from 57 countries.

For over a decade, VitrA has collaborated with leading international designers to develop bathroom experiences that suit the needs and tastes of consumers all over the world. In the latest of these, Tom Dixon (OBE), who was recently named “Designer of the Year” by Elle Decoration UK magazine, and VitrA have come together to present their signature Liquid Collection. The European launch of the Liquid Collection was held in London and will soon be presented in Turkey and India.

Bringing the British designer’s philosophy of expressive minimalism to the bathroom, the collection evokes a sense of permanence with soft and rounded forms in durable white porcelain. Contrast and definition are delivered via a supporting cast of solid taps, showering solutions and iconic accessories. Expressive in function and instinctive in use, the collection encompasses enduring ceramic silhouettes, shapely brassware and showers and an integrated system offset by harmonious furniture.

Liquid reflects VitrA’s all-encompassing approach to hygiene, ergonomics and safety, performance and quality as well as aesthetics. VitrA strives to perfect excellence in bathroom experiences by matching peerless manufacturing capabilities with world-renowned designers and design studios. As well as its most recent collaboration with Tom Dixon, VitrA has also worked with Arik Levy, Claudio Bellini, Terri Pecora, Sebastian Conran, Christophe Pillet, Matteo Thun and Ross Lovegrove.
