Chandigarh Administration plans to set up Trauma Centre in Chandigarh

Healthcare: Chandigarh Administration has plan to set up 300-bed Trauma Centre in sector 53 in Chandigarh. The administration has already earmarked a plot measuring 9.6 acre. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Trauma Centre has also been prepared. Apart from this, the Chandigarh Administration has proposed to construct a sports injury centre at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) at sector 32.
