IMC Ltd plans to set up port facility in West Bengal

Ports & Shipping: IMC Ltd has plan to set up port facility on the west bank of river Hooghly at Shalukkhali, in Haldia district of West Bengal (Haldia Dock) on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis. The proposed facility would have 2.5 million-tonne per annum cargo capacity. The project comprises setting up liquid cargo handling jetty along with associated facilities. The completion of the project is targeted by 2020 with an investment of Rs. 172.52 crores.
