In a timeline when architecture and design is gaining prominence across the commercial, retail and residential segment, what kind of solutions is Wipro offering to add value to this emerging scenario?
The workplace design in recent times is undergoing a radical change. Organizations are looking at creating spaces, which enhance employee well-being. Wellness of employees, user experience, use of technology to deliver this is picking up pace. Design intents are changing globally and Indian market is also seeing advent of new style workplace come into being.

Open spaces and ceilings, collaborative zones, etc. are increasingly gaining popularity as these encourage higher interaction between employees, leading to enhanced employee productivity and retention. Keeping in mind these design intents of architects and designers for creating such workplaces, Wipro Lighting offers products and solutions that aid in delivering these outcomes. For eg. Our innovative products like Verge won the Red Dot Design award.

Workplaces are becoming agile and smarter – personalized user control, actionable insights into space optimization, way finding, hot desking, meeting room bookings are some of the outcomes being looked at in order to address these demands. In addition to this modulation of color of light, impacting circadian rhythm and wellness of the employees, are also gaining popularity. The WELL Building standard (WELL) provides guidelines that minimize disruption to the body’s circadian system, enhance productivity, support good sleep quality and provide appropriate visual acuity. The Workplace Design in recent times is undergoing a radical change. Organizations are looking at challenging parameters for creating spaces which enhance Employee Well-Being & User Experience with the help of Technology Usage for Space Management and Energy Optimization.

What are the new products Wipro lighting will be launching this year and which are the key events you will partake in?
Stylus is India’s first FLEXI LIT angular lighting solution with a unique angular flexibility giving freedom to the designers to create linear patterns in the offices with open ceilings. This much desired feature in demand from the specifier fraternity has been incorporated in the product for tailoring any illuminated shape and form in space. The product is available with louvers for customers preferring classic look, with collimator for critical high illumination tasks and with UGR diffuser for soft glow.

inForm is a collection of suspended collaborative luminaires that perfectly aligns to the newly developed styling and architecture in modern offices. It offers multiple options in form, shapes, sizes and colours backed with the trust and credibility of the Wipro Brand. inForm comprises of the following range of products:
Vertica – Vertica is premium lighting solution that caters to the emerging trends of open ceiling offices and collaborative spaces. Available in 24 degree and 26 degree beam angles, the product has faceted reflector optics designed to make employees feel comfortable and relaxed.

Picasso Range – With the Picasso range, the designers can beautify the office space with its unique forms and shapes, owing tothe sophisticated variations and a versatile profile it features. In this range, Wipro offers Picasso Retro for a vintage look, Picasso Ozone and Piccaso Dome to oomph up any space with its unconventional forms. This range is known for its optical excellence and ease of installation.

Orbit Ring – With a wide area light distribution and attractive profile, the Orbit range blends well in collaborative spaces. Orbit Ring, with its circularly-suspended luminaire, creates a contour of light in the ceiling, aiding the architects enhance the décor of any space. Made from high quality aluminum-die cast ring, the product distributes light uniformly from the surface of diffuser.
