Greenply hosts “Hindustan ki Shaan” Awards

Greenply in association with Times Network and Furniture and Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) launched ‘Hindustan Ki Shaan’ contest to recognise the hard work of immensely talented contractor and carpenter community.

After months of awareness and constant engagement with the community, the contest saw nominations of more than 1100 carpenters and contractors, which made it a successful feat. The contest’s prime purpose was to give a stage to the artistry of the carpenter and contractor community, in support of their talent and hard work. During two rounds of screening by the esteemed jury, the contestants were evaluated on three parameters solving a consumer problem through design customisation, value-add to customer and sustainability.

Total of five winners were given the awards 4 zonal winners, and 1 pan-India award for the ‘Craftsman of the Year’. Prize money of INR 1,01,000 for national winner and 51,000 for zonal winner was also awarded. The event opened with a panel discussion on ‘Evolving Indian Homes and Changing Interior Choices’ followed by enthralling performances and the facilitation ceremony.
