Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd.(HCEIPL), a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea, announced the launch of their heavy duty excavator RC 340L in India. Hyundai showcased their product, R340LC-7 at EXCON 2011, the sixth international exhibition on construction equipment & construction technology trade fair, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Bengaluru held between November 23rd to 27th. Hyundai’s booth no. at EXCON is 714 & 715.
R340 LC-7 is amongst the world class excavators from Hyundai specially designed and manufactured in India for heavy construction, marble, granite and quarry application. The operating or total weight of the machine is 34 tonnes, with an engine power of 260 HP (191 KW) at 1750 rpm. The bucket capacity of the excavator is 2.1 m3 GP (General Purpose), 1.76 m3 RB (Rock Breaker).
At EXCON 2011, Prabhat Kumar Tiwari, Head Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Construction Equipment India said, “The Indian construction equipment industry is well poised for growth which is a key contributor to the Indian economy. This industry in India is expected to grow to a size of US$ 6.5 billion by the year 2014 as reported by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). He further added, “With our participation at EXCON 2011, we intend to showcase Hyundai’s wide range of products which will speak for itself & add to the development of this industry.”
Hyundai has set up their stall at the ongoing trade fair EXCON 2011 booth no. 714 & 715, which is being held in Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru. Present in India with its wide range of Crawlers, Wheeled excavators Hyundai has products that suit every requirement and application be it irrigation, road construction, mining or any other infrastructure development activities. Hyundai’s excavators can be equipped with various attachments like bucket, rock breaker, etc to cater to the need of various segments.
