Hyundai’s next generation mining excavators
Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. (HCEIPL), a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea, showcased the next generation of mining excavators at the IMME 2012 at Salt Lake Grounds, Kolkata.
At the show, HCEIPL displayed the exclusive range of mining excavators, such as Robex 800, Robex 500, and Robex 340 tonne besides Wheel Loaders SL 730 and SL 760.
Special attraction at Hyundai stall was the long-reach excavator and an excavator simulator that provides real-time operation experience to the operator.
“As the construction equipment industry grows, we expect a rise in the volumes by next year for excavators particularly in road construction and mining sector which are among the largest consumers of excavators,” Dheeraj Panda, Head (Marketing & Key Accounts Management), HCEIPL, said on the occasion. “Our participation at IMME, 2012 is a step toward rolling out new products and we are confident of serving the sectors through our wide product portfolio.”
Earlier this year, Hyundai Construction reached the milestone of selling its 5,000th excavator in the Indian market.
