IRSDC plans to redevelop station in Madhya Pradesh

Railways: Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC). Redevelopment of Habibganj railway station in Bhopal district is planned over 40.91 ha of land. The land would be used for development of existing station and proposed railway colony. The project is being implemented by a consortium of Bansal Construction Works and Prakash Asphalting and Toll Highways through SPV – Bansal Pathways Habibganj Pvt Ltd. The project comprises provision of modern amenities like escalators, lifts, parking lot, landscaping, concourse, walkway, travelators, parcel corridor, subways, food plaza, clinic, office complex, etc as part of the redevelopment of the station. Habibganj Railway station is the first station to be redeveloped through Public Private Partnership (PPP) route under the station redevelopment program of Indian Railways at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. Indian Railway Station Development Corporation has plan to invests around Rs. 450 Crores.
