Indian Railways plans to invests around Rs. 1,566 Crores in Kerala

Railways: Indian Railways the Government of Kerala has asked the Railways to implement the Sabari railway line project. The project is likely to benefit Ayappa pilgrims who visit Sabarimala every year. The proposed line starts from Angamally in Ernakulam district and ends at Erumelli. The railways insist on the state government to bear part of the cost which is not agreeable to the state as it’s an old project at Ernakulam District in Kerala.
