Information and Communications Technology: Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd plans to proposed project involves laying of Asia Africa Europe One (AAE-1) Submarine Cable System at Versova beach, Mumbai. This would be the largest sub-sea cable system connecting Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Pakistan, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Yemen, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Greece, Italy and France. Environment clearance granted to this project on 2nd August, 2016 at Mumbai in Maharashtra.
